Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team in the role of Maintenance Technician at Seafood 2000 Ltd - a key position dedicated to maintaining and upgrading our equipment and facilities.

Key Job Accountabilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain various equipment in the processing facility, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure operational efficiency of all equipment.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools and other equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime.
- Participating in continuous training on best practices and new system operations, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.

Job Qualifications:

- Open to receiving their Refrigeration ‘B’ license or 4th Class Power Engineering certificate.
- Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely.
- Physically fit and capable of performing all assigned duties - including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Maintenance Team.
- Willing to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Availability for emergency repairs or maintenance outside of regular hours.
- Must have access to a vehicle - operation located 40min from Charlottetown.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
