Veterinary Receptionist

King Hopkins Pet Hospital is growing and moving fast, looking for a full-time receptionist to join the team We are looking for a reliable, professional and flexible individual with a positive attitude. Always upgrading our hospital with new equipment and using the Avimark Software will give you great experience. As we are open 24/7 for 365 days a year we thrive on offering the public loving care at any time of day.

**As part of your job here you will be performing the following duties**:

- Answering and making phone calls to our clients and scheduling appointments
- Processing transactions with both purchases and returns plus handling cash
- Working directly with all kinds of animals (including but not limited to: dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, avians, reptiles, etc.)
- Organizing, Scanning and Attaching files and other information within our database
- Dealing with emergent situations and effectively managing our appointment schedule and the flow of clients and patients within the building

- Strong abilities in Multi-tasking, Organization, and Communication
- Superb Typing skills and Note-taking abilities
- Experience and effectiveness when working in a Team-based environment
- A Positive, Kind, Friendly and Helpful attitude with clients, both in person and over the phone
- Excellent Customer Service Skills and Experience (mandatory)
- Experience using Avimark software (mandatory)
- Extensive Animal Knowledge and Experience (mandatory)
- A Flexible schedule and freedom to work any day of the week
