Snow Removal

**Duties**:

- Operate snow blower (provided), shovels, and ice picks to clear all exits and sidewalks for our senior residents and staff.
- Remove snow and ice from designated areas using plows, shovels, and other tools
- Spread salt or sand on surfaces to prevent slipping and improve traction
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing conditions
- Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience operating snow plow equipment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Must be able to keep emergency exits clear at ALL times (night included) for the safety of our staff and residents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in landscape maintenance or gardening
- Ability to build and maintain outdoor structures

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 50 per week
