**Main Responsibilities**: Verify incoming parts and organize their distribution into the production shop. Prepare related documents and determine proper shipping methods for ensuring on time delivery to customers.

**Duties**

  • Unpack received parts, pack outgoing parts
  • Tooling control
  • Inspect and verify incoming parts, confirm receiving documents match customer contract
  • Note and report discrepancies and obvious damages
  • Ensure correct parts and documentation accompany incoming and outgoing work orders
  • Operate software/databases of shipping companies (i.e. FedEx, UPS)
  • Accurately complete parts picking requests in a timely manner
  • Re-fill shop floor bin inventory, as required
  • Suggest improvements to procedures, to improve process time, and/or reduce costs
  • Some local travel

**Qualifications (Skills/Knowledge)**

  • Able to read and comprehend complex documents
  • Strong aptitude for reading part numbers, serial numbers and quantities correctly
  • Basic mathematics skills
  • Customer contact skills
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Attention to details

**Qualifications (Education and Experience)**

  • Experience shipping with FedEx and Purolator preferred
  • Aerospace background preferred
  • High School Diploma/ Post Secondary Education Preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
