We are currently seeking a **Shipper/Receiver **at our Summerside, Distribution Center. This is a seasonal hourly position, approximately April - July annually. This position reports to the onsite Distribution Center Lead Hand.

**job responsibilities**

• Shipping & Receiving Agricultural crop protection products and inputs.
• Operating a forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Pertinent paperwork and verification of loads shipped & received.
• Preparing mixed loads for shipments.
• Aid the Lead Hand with Inventory control and general duties of the Distribution Center.

**required experience and qualifications**

• Grade 12 or GED
• Shipping/receiving experience
• Proven ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to accuracy and detail
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment
• Experience operating a forklift in a safe manner.
• Good safety record with ability to demonstrate “safety first” on a continual basis.
• Reliable, solutions-oriented and customer focused
• Good communication skills
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50 lbs
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency.

Pay is $20/hr
