**We’re looking ahead to the 2026 wedding season**

**We’re seeking casual/part-time Wedding Dog Attendants for 2026 in the following locations: Kitchener/Waterloo, Guelph, Hamilton, Niagara Region, and Oxford County.**

This isn’t a gig for just anyone who likes dogs. We’re a premier wedding dog attendant service, trusted to care for couples’ beloved pups on one of the most high-pressure and joyful days of their lives. That means we need someone who can balance fun and professionalism, kindness and confidence, independence and teamwork.

**The Gig**:

- Prior hands-on dog care experience is a must.
- Pet First Aid certification is required. You’ll be the calm in the storm if anything unexpected happens.
- Available Fridays and weekends, that’s when the weddings (and wagging tails) happen.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, yes, showing up with the pup riding shotgun counts as arriving in style.
- Must be exceptional at making both humans and their dogs feel like the most important guests of the day.
- Time management is key Weddings run on tight timelines, and dogs don’t exactly believe in “fashionably late.”

**The Vibe**:This role is collaborative. You’ll work with wedding vendors, couples, and fellow Black Dog Weddings teammates to make sure every pup is safe, calm, and celebrated. At times, you’ll also fly solo with one-dog weddings, where independence and confidence are essential. We’re looking for someone with Coach Lasso optimism and warmth, but also the presence to carry themselves in luxury wedding settings with ease. If you’ve ever been called a “helicopter dog mom” (or dad), you’re probably closer to our ideal than you think and we respect that kind of detail and care.

**The Fine Print**: Must be 18+ (insurance rules - we don’t make them). Legally able to work in Canada.Must pass a vulnerable sector check - trust is everything.References required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
