Co-op E-commerce Merchandising Coordinator

The E-Commerce Merchandising Coordinator supports the Merchandising team in building a compelling and relevant online reward assortment for our customers. This individual will help set up, enhance, and maintain product listings in the global Achievers’ Marketplace catalogue to ensure a positive member experience. This position requires a strong attention to detail and a proven ability to work independently, prioritizing their workload while managing multiple requests and projects.
**Responsibilities**:
Product Information Management (90%)
- Responsible for accurately setting up and maintaining the global product catalog, ensuring price and description accuracy, updating product images, copy, translations, and other assets as needed.
- Leverage market research and vendor insights to aide in assortment selection decisions
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to collect product information in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure adherence to merchandising processes, content guidelines, and standards.
- Data entry of product information, ensuring accurate catalog details for manual product uploads.
- Facilitate product translations with our Localisation team as per regional requirements.
- Support Customer Care with inquiries received pertaining to the Marketplace and catalog assortment.
- Lead ad hoc projects to improve the overall accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product data.
Platform Support and Enhancements (10%)
- Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline merchandising workflows and processes and collaborate with the team to implement improvements.
- Support the troubleshooting, reporting, and investigation of technical bugs.
- Support documentation initiatives to educate and enable new workflows.
**Competencies / Skills / Attributes**:
- Current enrolment in a co-op business or retail management related post-secondary program
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new technical processes
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel, knowledge of VBA and Macros an asset
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Very adaptable, able to work in an environment with on-going change
