We are looking for someone who is passionate, fun, and adaptable to join our team at Winnipeg Sport & Leisure as a Marine Technician While we sell and service premium brand sport and marine products, we really share in a passionate outdoor lifestyle with our customers. Our lines include: Lund, Malibu, Axis and Cobalt Boats, Yamaha and Honda full-line powersports and marine.

**The role**:
We are looking for someone to join our team as a Marine Technician. It might be you if any of this resonates: you are adaptable, fun and share a passion for marine. You are detail oriented. You are organized. You are process oriented and comfortable with technology.

**Here are some of the responsibilities**:

- You’ll contribute to the success of the company by performing repairs and maintenance efficiently and accurately.
- You’ll complete pre-delivery inspections, and assemble, repair, and troubleshoot marine products.
- You’ll recommend work to be done and communicate needs effectively to the service department.
- You’ll document work accurately and efficiently on all work orders

Additionally, you’ll:

- Problem solve with colleagues to solve complex issues that may arise.
- Continually learn, adapt, and develop your skills.
- Look for ways to make systems more efficient without compromising the product, the result, or customer experience.

**Here is what makes you stand out from the crowd, but not required**:

- A passion for marine and powersports
- Experience in fibreglass repair
- Marine computer and electrical repair experience
- An attention to detail, organized, and excellent communication skills
- Motivated by team and customer success
**Required**:

- Minimum 3 years experience
- Able to lift 50lbs, work in confined spaces, to be on your feet all day, be able to sit or crouch for extended periods of time
- Possess a valid Manitoba driver's license
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Available Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

**Salary**: $20.00-$32.00 per hour
