We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing repairs, inspections, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assembly tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides
- Assist with vehicle inspections and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Support team members with heavy lifting and other physical tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably with dealership experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly processes
- Excellent customer service skills to address client concerns professionally
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license is an asset
