Junior Web Specialist - Full-time (Remote, Anywhere in Canada)

We are currently seeking a Junior Web Specialist to help support our marketing department and companies under the corporation. You will be working remotely unless close to a central office that you may prefer.

This individual will be responsible for creating website solutions for our companies, including conceptualizing, and implementing creative ideas for content creation. You will be working with our Web Specialist and marketing team on improving and implementing the digital marketing strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

- Website redesign and development, intranet management and related tasks.
- Analyze sales funnels and customer intent.
- Measure ROI of online advertising campaigns
- Report on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic, and social media engagement.
- Recommend website and campaign optimizations
- Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data (surveys, questionnaires, opinion polls)
- Stay up to date on digital marketing trends, web design and social media best practices.
- Working with the marketing team provide insight to develop, maintain and optimize quality of channel-specific content
- Support our Net Performer Score service for all companies.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

- 1 - 2+ years’ experience in web design and marketing.
- Related degree or diploma is an asset.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and general content management system functionality.
- An understanding of accessibility concerning web design, responsive and adaptive design concepts.
- Working knowledge with IIS servers and Nodejs runtime for production and development purposes.
- Experience using Google Data Studio, Tag Manager, AdWords, Optimize and Analytics.
- Ability to communicate at a high level to stakeholders while communicating with developers at a technical level.
- Capable of creating presentations for stakeholders or management.
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.)
- Able to work with the marketing team remotely.
- Manage multiple deadlines and the ability to change priorities when needed.
