Night Shift Monitoring Station Operator

This position reports to the Station Supervisor but takes day-to-day direction from the Dispatch Team Leader. Monitor signals from customer’s alarm systems, and respond to signals by providing accurate information to the proper authorities. Maintain customer privacy and confidentiality. Conduct day-to-day interactions with customers and coworkers in a manner that exemplifies the Vision, Purpose and Values of Global Link Response Centre Inc.
1) Monitor and respond appropriately to a variety of alarm signals. Response must be timely and accurate, with particular attention given to general procedures and special instructions.
2) Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Follow all departmental and company policies and procedures. Complete required equipment checks and daily or weekend logs.
3) Answer multiple telephone lines. Respond to each caller in a professional and helpful manner while gathering information, troubleshooting, transferring calls, or putting callers into voice mail.
4) Provide technical support as needed. Follow procedures for service and inspection requests. Communicate and analyze customer inquiries and determine a correct course of action. Follow-up to assure customer expectations are met.
5) Maintain building security and Monitoring Response Center operations following company procedures and policies to provide a safe and productive environment.
6) Complete assigned duties as requested. Assist other departments and associates with special projects to support a teamwork atmosphere for the benefit of our customers and the company.
7) Participate in job related training programs and meetings to continually refresh and update knowledge.

Part-time hours: 40 per week
**Salary**: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
