**Boom Truck Driver - Class 3 with Air**

Springhill Lumber (Wholesale) Ltd. is looking for an experienced **Boom Truck Driver**. This position is from Monday to Friday with some overtime as required.

**Rate of Pay**:Depending on Experience

**Responsibilities**:

- **Labour intensive**with booming different building materials from roofing supplies, shingles, drywall, etc., daily to customers’/vendors sites;
- Load and unload materials following the proper safe work procedures and requirements;
- Ensure orders are accurately filled, loaded and secured following all safe work procedures;
- Pick up any excess building materials from job sites as instructed and complete the proper paper work;
- Complete all required paper work promptly and accurately. Including noting any order shortages or changes on the paper work;
- Maintain a cleanliness and upkeep of company vehicles;
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Hold a valid Class 3 with Air driver’s licence;
- Ability to operate a Manual Transmission;
- Crane and Rigging Certification;
- Obtain and hold a clean Driver’s Abstract (must be current within 3 months);
- Ability to do physical labour including lifting, carrying (over 50 Lbs.), bending repeatedly on a daily basis;
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Must be a team player, friendly, reliable, and organized;
- Forklift Licence desired (but not required);
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding working environment.
- Reliable vehicle is required, as this is a non-bus route.

**Working Conditions**:

- Exposure to dust and extreme changes in temperature and weather when working outside year around.
- Safety boots and safety equipment are required.
- Busy, high-volume environment.
