**Class 5 - Delivery Truck Drivers**

Springhill Lumber (Wholesale) Ltd. is looking for full-time Class 5 Delivery Drivers. These positions are from Monday to Friday with some overtime as required.

**Rate of Pay**:$18.00 - $19.75** per hour (Depending on Experience)

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Deliver building materials to customers’ job sites and pick up from vendors as instructed by the shipping department;
- Pick up any excess building materials from job sites as instructed, and complete the proper paperwork;
- Ensure orders are loaded, unloaded and accurately filled, counted and secured following all safe work requirements;
- Receive and relay information to the shipping department in a timely manner;
- Be professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service;
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements & Desirables**:

- Hold a valid Class 5 (5F) driver’s licence;
- Obtain and hold a Driver’s Abstract (must be current within 3 months);
- Ability to do physical labour including lifting, carrying (over 50 Lbs.), bending repeatedly on a daily basis;
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift Licence desired (but not required) in house training available;
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding working environment.
- Reliable vehicle is required, as this is a non-bus route.

**Working Conditions**:

- Exposure to dust and extreme changes in temperature and weather when working outside year around.
- Safety boots and safety equipment are required;
- Busy, high-volume environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.75 per hour
