**Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice**

Evolution Inspections is currently looking for Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. We offer regular work as well as the opportunity for overtime, competitive wages & benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing work orders, project planning & project completion
- Commercial vehicle Inspection. Diagnosis faults & malfunctions, adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
- Fleet Service & maintenance. Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated & maintained
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the work done meets the manufacturers specifications and legislated requirements.
- Completing service reports and work orders.

**Requirements**:

- 1st year Heavy Equipment Technician
- Personal toolbox and tools
- Organized, motivated, provide a high level of attention to detail
- Speak, read, and write fluent English, effective communication
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised or as a team

**Experience**:

- Minimum 1st year Heavy Equipment Technician
- Transport Trailer Ticket an Asset

**Environment**:

- This job is performed in a shop as well as outside in all climates, we ask all employees to be prepared for variable weather conditions

**Schedule**:

- 8-10-hour shift regular Mon-Fri
- Weekend & Overtime as necessary

**Job Type**:

- Full-time, Permanent

**Salary/Wages**:

- $28.00 to $44.00 /hour dependent on experience
