**SECURITY TECHNICIAN - Saint John**

Chandler Alarm and Communications Division is growing and currently searching for an Experienced Security Technician.

**Responsibilities**
- Implementation, installation, troubleshooting and integration of premise security solutions CCTV, access control, intercoms, and intrusion systems for commercial clients.
- Troubleshoot and repair security systems,
- provide exceptional customer service
- Uphold company and industry standards for quality and within recognized guidelines
- Maintain accurate service records, including detailed notes and inventory
- Maintain communication with dispatch and customers staying on schedule
- Educate customers on the use of their equipment and provide technical service support (either remotely or on-site)
- Knowledge of IP networking considered an asset

**HERE'S WHAT SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE**:

- Must have a minimum of Minimum 2 years experience with in-depth knowledge of IP Cameras, access Control and Intrusion systems in the security industry,
- Work with high degree of accuracy and thoroughness
- You have a reputation for being reliable and approach your daily work in an efficient, professional manner
- Ability to provide exceptional customer experiences, overcome objections and handle both favorable and unfavorable customer interactions
- Ability to work independently and as an interactive member of a team
- Self-motivated, demonstrate effective decision-making skills
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts, in attics and crawl spaces, as well as to lift 50 lbs.
- Experience with low voltage, electrical, or cabling of any type
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment as required.
- Familiar with the use of everyday hand tools (drills, screwdrivers)
- Computer hardware and software knowledge
- Some travel is expected.
- Must have a clean criminal record, and a valid Driver's license.
