**Job Overview**: As a Concrete Forming Carpenter, you will be responsible for building, assembling, and setting forms for a variety of concrete structures, including foundations, footings, walls, retaining walls, and bridge structures. You will work closely with other skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and adhere to safety protocols.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build, set, and strip formwork for concrete foundations, walls, footings, retaining walls, bridge structures, and other civil infrastructure components.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the proper layout and dimensions of formwork.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood or metal forms and reinforcements as required for each project.
- Install rebar, mesh, and other reinforcing materials as needed for structural integrity.
- Pour, spread, and finish concrete, ensuring accurate placement and adherence to design specifications.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure efficient project completion.
- Inspect formwork to ensure it is stable, level, and properly aligned before pouring concrete.
- Follow company safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, including the safe handling and storage of tools and materials.
- Assist in the demolition and removal of formwork once concrete has set.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Concrete Forms Carpenter, particularly in civil infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and drawings.
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and metal forms.
- Experience working on foundations, footings, walls, retaining walls, bridge structures, and similar civil projects.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and measuring devices.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to work in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

**Work Environment**:

- Work on active construction sites for civil infrastructure and building projects.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
- Physical work that requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
