Toronto, Canada LPC Construction Full time

LPC Construction is a high end residential renovation company—kitchens and bathrooms to whole houses—with 16 years of experience in the city. We’re looking to hire a full time carpenter / remodeler to work with our small team. Our sites are in based in the west end of Toronto, ranging from downtown to Oakville.

**Job Details:
- Hours are 8:00-4:00 Monday-Friday, with occasional longer days when the project demands it, but no weekend work.
- Our focus is always on carpentry (framing, trim, decks). But we don't sub everything else out, depending on the project, which means the work can vary a lot from day to day. It could include everything from demolition and formwork, to tiling, roofing, painting, or even restoration work on old cabinetry. We don’t expect you to have experience in everything, but the ability to learn new skills and think on your feet will be important.
- Pay is negotiable but competitive. It depends on the skills and the tools you can bring to the job, and includes a comprehensive benefits package after the probation period.

**Requirements**:

- A driver’s license and your own vehicle
- Your own tools, at least a basic set but more is better
- 2 years in residential construction, or equivalent experience, ideally with a wide range of skills covering residential remodeling. We’re looking for someone with a good eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate and coordinate their work around the rest of the team.
- Good people skills. Our clients often live on-site throughout the renovation, and it goes a long way to be able to answer their questions, keep them informed about the work you're doing, and just generally put them at ease.
- The ability to work independently. There will be some days when you're the only person on site, and you'll need to be able to problem solve and work through your tasks, while knowing when to call us for direction.
