**Position Overview**:
The Estimator/Project Manager plays a key role in our operations, combining technical expertise, project oversight, and strategic business development. This position is responsible for estimating project costs, managing project execution, and driving business growth by building relationships with new and existing clients.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Estimating**:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for demolition and abatement projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope, risks, and site-specific challenges.
- Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to develop competitive proposals.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure cost efficiency.
**Project Management**:
- Plan, organize, and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
**Business Development**:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the demolition and abatement industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
- Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to promote company services.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic growth plans.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market trends and competitor activities.
**Skills/Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as an Estimator, Project Manager, or similar role in the abatement, demolition, or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental compliance in BC.
- WorkSafe BC certification in asbestos abatement level 3.
- Exceptional estimating skills, with the ability to analyze project details and prepare accurate proposals.
- Proficiency in project management tools, software, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within BC for site visits and client meetings.
- Occupational First Aid and other relevant safety certifications are a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
