**About the position**:
Currently, we are seeking a **Project Manager/ Estimator** to join our Security team in **Nanaimo, BC.**

**Responsibilities/Duties**:

- Identify potential business opportunities
- Maintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users
- Manage all areas of the project including, contract management, financials, schedules, labour requirements, materials, deficiencies, etc.
- Estimate project costs, changes, and submit tenders
- Complete required paperwork for billing, and ensure payment is received
- Review reports and provide analytics to project team
- Arrange for project manuals to be completed
- Ensure that as-built drawings are completed and sent to the owner
- Work onsite with the foreman and superintendent as a team to review the project documents, and assess success and challenges, once the project is complete

**Experience and Skills**:

- Strong technical knowledge of Security Systems including CCTV and Access Control
- Experience working within the BC Security Industry and familiarity with local Consultants and Architects
- 3-5 years project management experience with relevant education/training in Low Voltage Technologies.
- Project estimating experience. Familiarity with Accubid software an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to sell Security related products and services
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with project stakeholders, field team and office support resources
- Good understanding of English language and communication skills
- Security system trades qualification and/or electrical trades qualification an asset
- Experience in Risk management and contract knowledge an asset
- IT, Networks and Communication systems knowledge is a definite asset
