_**Hi Tech Heat Treating Ltd.**_ is a commercial heat treating company that offers numerous heat treating services to our customers across Canada since 1996. We are committed to high quality customer service through hard work and dedication. We are a family ran ISO certified shop located in Edmonton, Alberta.

**Note**: This position is a physically demanding job that requires heavy lifting, standing on concrete for extended periods of time and working in hot temperatures.

**Previous experience in a warehouse/ shop environment is required & forklift experience is a must**

**Key Competencies**
- Attention to detail and good hand eye coordination is key
- Physically fit; able to handle weights up to 23 kgs (50lbs), standing for extended periods
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Able to accurately count fast and work under pressure
- Must work well in a team setting
- Reliable and honest

**Responsibilities**
- Receive, unpack and inspect incoming shipments of all parts received
- Verify shipments received against shipping documents / Purchase Orders
- Loading/unloading shipments using forklift
- Accurately count & weigh all items received & to be shipped
- Thoroughly inspect all received pieces for any signed of damage
- Ensure proper packaging of parts is completed before shipping back to customers
- Fill out waybills and contact freight carriers when product is ready to be ship
- Assist customers and freight carriers with pick-ups and drop offs
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse space
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Forklift experiences is a **must**and required for this position
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, particularly in shipping and receiving roles
- Own transportation

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to accurately use measuring equipment, tape measure, weight scale, etc.
- Must have own transportation as we are not on a bus route
- Strong attention to details, dependable and reliable
- Maintain good working relationships with customers, fellow employees and management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Have CSA steel toe safety shoes
- Forklift experience is required
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
