**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and customer specifications.
- Prepare toppings, sauces, and other ingredients.
- Operate ovens, dough mixers, and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Greet customers and take orders in person and over the phone.
- Operate POS (point-of-sale) system accurately to process payments (cash, card, and online orders).
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
- Package takeout and delivery orders correctly and promptly.
- Keep kitchen and front counter clean, organized, and stocked.
- Wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, and dispose of trash regularly.
- Follow closing and opening procedures as assigned.
- Work effectively with team members during busy periods.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and delivery staff.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferable for occasional deliveries.
- **Valid Food Handler Certification** (or willing to obtain before starting).
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
