**Job Summary**

**What is the opportunity?**

You will settle and / or process all transactions assigned on a daily basis in a timely and accurate manner with a primary focus on US Treasuries. All responsibilities carried out in accordance with Code of Conduct, RBC values and Guiding Principles ensuring adherence to Privacy principles.

**What will you do?**
- Process the settlements of US Fixed Income Securities and US Treasuries and handle all trade exceptions on a timely basis
- Reconcile cash and position breaks related to settlements
- Work constructively with teams across multiple business entities in a fast paced environment
- Aid in managing volumes and organizing workflow
- Remain up to date on a number of desks so as to be able to back fill throughout the year
- Posses good knowledge of the products and systems required to accomplish daily responsibilities (BDC, Nexen, APEX, ICI IMPACT, RIMMS)
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, standards and guidelines instructions and ensures processes and controls are in place to minimize operations risk
- On an ongoing basis will assist Manager, US Securities Settlements with any ad hoc requirements / tasks

**What you need to succeed?**
- 0 - 1 year of prior relevant experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and to solve problems using knowledge and experience
- Good working knowledge of internal trading, accounting, and settlement systems
