Food Packaging Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the packaging of food products and ensure that all food packaging activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage the food packaging team, including scheduling, hiring, and disciplining associates
- Ensure that all HACCP and Food Safety programs are followed, and assist as necessary
- Maintaining machinery as necessary and understanding the operations of the machinery
- Training of new associates
- Ensuring a safe working environment for team members
- Working directly with production supervisor and managment team
- Manage associates and be accountable for labor hours
- Report any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner

**Requirements**:

- Legal working age, and having all necessary work status
- English Speaking
- Able to lift 40lb repetitively throughout the day
- Available Monday to Friday from 10am-8pm
- Managerial experience is an asset
- HACCP or Food QA experience is an asset

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a food packaging environment
- Knowledge of food safety and quality assurance practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year
