As a Skilled Builder/Carpenter at Cura Construction, you will be an indispensable part of our rapidly expanding team. Your skills will be applied across a spectrum of projects, including:
**Decks**: Ranging from simple, elegant designs to intricate multi-level structures, you will have the opportunity to craft magnificent decks that function as seamless extensions of our clients' living spaces.

**Fences**: Our hallmark is delivering premium-quality fences that offer privacy, safety, and enhance the curb appeal of any property. Your craftsmanship will shine through in every intricate detail.

**Stampcrete and Concrete**: Your mastery will transform ordinary concrete into captivating art, infusing unique stampcrete patterns and impeccably crafted concrete installations.

**Interlocking**: Whether it's a captivating pathway or a stunning patio, you will be at the forefront of creating visually stunning and durable interlocking projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Your role as a skilled Builder/Carpenter will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including:

- Taking directions from the site lead and completing tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Meticulously reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure precise project execution.
- Skillfully laying out and measuring materials for optimal efficiency.
- Expertly utilizing an array of hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision.
- Erecting, aligning, and installing various types of fencing.
- Managing formwork and executing pours for varied stampcrete and concrete projects.
- Constructing decks and platforms of diverse types with a focus on detail.
- Achieving perfection in grading, leveling, and finishing hardscape/interlocking projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated expertise in the construction industry, particularly in carpentry and landscaping.
- Proficiency in operating a wide range of power tools.
- Ability to independently complete projects with exceptional attention to detail.
- Keen eye for efficiency, punctuality, and deadline adherence.
- A drive for perpetual enhancement and the maintenance of exceptional quality standards.

**Requirements**:

- Must have own vehicle to get to and from the job site, Cura Construction works all over Ottawa from Orleans - Barrhaven - Kanata and beyond.
- Must be able to operate various types of power tools and Construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Must be able perform basic math calculations and use measuring devices effectively.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
