**About the Role**
WCPG is expanding its portfolio and seeking an additional Development Manager to help lead multiple multi-family residential projects from acquisition through to occupancy. You’ll manage day-to-day development activities, coordinate consultant and municipal processes, and ensure projects meet financial, schedule, and design targets.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead projects from due diligence and concept planning through permitting, construction, and completion.
- Manage external consultants (architects, engineers, planners, cost consultants) and coordinate deliverables.
- Prepare and monitor development budgets, pro formas, schedules, and cashflows.
- Oversee municipal approvals, including rezoning, development permits, building permits, and subdivision processes.
- Support construction interface: RFIs, change orders, design clarifications, drawing coordination.
- Coordinate with internal finance, construction management, and ownership teams to align project priorities.
- Support lender/investor reporting, presentations, and internal approvals.
- Lead communication with city staff, community stakeholders, and project partners as required.
- Identify risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Manage contract administration for consultants (CCDC/standard form agreements).

**Qualifications**
- 3-7+ years of development management experience (multi-family or mixed-use preferred).
- Strong understanding of municipal planning, approvals, building codes, and construction processes.
- Experience managing design consultants and overseeing drawing coordination.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and development budgeting.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple active projects with evolving deadlines.
- Education in real estate, planning, engineering, or related field (B.Comm, BBA, or equivalent).

Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
