Lead Bartender

**About Us**
Watercolour is a refined Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in the heart of Unionville, known for elevated cuisine, impeccable service, and an exceptional guest experience. We are seeking a passionate and experienced **Lead Bartender** to take charge of our bar program and deliver memorable moments for every guest who walks through our doors.

**The Role**
As Lead Bartender, you will oversee all aspects of the bar at Watercolour — from cocktail creation and inventory management to team leadership and service excellence. You’ll work closely with our front-of-house management and culinary teams to ensure our beverage program reflects the same high standards as our kitchen.Additionally, you will be expected to have a strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and beverages, including wines, spirits, and cocktails, in order to make recommendations and answer customer inquiries.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead daily bar operations, ensuring efficient and consistent service
- Create and execute a seasonal cocktail menu in collaboration with leadership
- Uphold high standards of product knowledge, cleanliness, and presentation
- Train and mentor junior bartenders and barbacks
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for bar supplies and spirits
- Ensure compliance with all Smart Serve, health, and safety regulations
- Engage warmly with guests, providing personalized service and beverage recommendations
- Work collaboratively with the FOH team to support overall service flow

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in a high-end or high-volume setting
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring a team
- Deep knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, and spirits
- Smart Serve certification (required)
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
