**Production Worker **(Reports to Production Manager)

For this position you'll need to be on the ball, aware of your surroundings, able to multitask and VERY physically fit. This job can be exhausting if you don't have stamina, but if you’re someone who doesn’t like to sit still, this may be your dream job. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, day-time hours, no overtime. You are required to be legally entitled to work in Canada.

**Summary**:
The Production Worker will be responsible for working in the production area of the Functional Beverage Group Inc. The Production Worker will be responsible for the completion of diverse tasks assigned and for the operation of equipment used for the manufacturing of beverages and its ingredients. The Production Worker will ensure all work performed adheres to all organizational standards and policies, as well as safety regulation and guidelines. This is a labour intensive position requiring individuals to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods of time.

**Job Duties**
- Operate and attend to manual, semiautomatic and automatic equipment in the production process operation,
- Perform all functions as designated by the FBG instruction while operating specified equipment,
- Follow all production procedures as instructed by the management,
- Understand and review the product through specified production processes, recognizing areas of defect and taking appropriate actions to rectify them,
- Perform all work to organisational standards to ensure the final product meets quality standards,
- Perform quality inspections as necessary,
- Determine and report product and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate authority,
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned work area at all times,
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency,
- Ensure adherence to the daily and weekly production schedule,
- Follow all standard operating procedures and designated organisational as well as provincial and federal guidelines,
- Ensures all equipment is operated according to equipment manufacturers instructions and safety guidelines are followed,
- Participate in educational and training opportunities applicable to the position,
- Other duties shall be assigned as required.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous production work experience is considered an asset
- Willing and able to follow specific instructions
- Ability to use basic power tools required
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with little supervision
- Ability to work as a team
- Commitment to accuracy and detail oriented
- Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand, crouch, bend, reach, and stoop for long periods of time
- Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts (no overtime)

**Work Conditions**:

- Highly repetitive tasks.
- Standing during working hours.
- Heavy lifting required, up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity required.
- Noise exposure moderate. Earplugs are required to be worn while in production.
- Safety anti grip and steel toe shoes required.
- No electronic devices allowed in working areas.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
