**The Role**
We are seeking a skilled and motivated **Production Worker** with experience in manufacturing and facility maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting production processes, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining cleanliness across the facility. This position requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adaptability in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will report to the **Lead Engineering Manager, Process and Cell Development** and be expected to perform hands-on tasks requiring physical stamina and technical proficiency. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of **40 hours per week**.

**Key Responsibilities**
**Production & Operations**:

- Prepare dry chemical mixtures and operate hot press equipment.
- Handle, clean, and maintain machinery used in chemical processing.
- Perform production tasks including loading, transporting, cleaning, and labeling materials.
- Follow standardized work instructions to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of production data and activity logs.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

**Facility & Maintenance Support**:

- Assist in routine maintenance and promptly report facility issues.
- Handle shipping, receiving, and inventory management tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

**Physical & Safety Requirements**:

- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to **50 lbs**, bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
- Work comfortably in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Handle chemicals safely and follow all relevant safety protocols.
- Wear required **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)**, including safety eyewear, gloves, coats, and a half-mask respirator. **(Must be clean-shaven for a proper respirator seal.)**:

- Willingness to work different shifts and perform repetitive tasks as needed.

**Education & Experience**
- Previous experience in **warehouse, manufacturing, or custodial roles** preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Reliable transportation to the worksite is required.
- Ability to multitask effectively and maintain a focus on quality and safety.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- **Preferred Certifications**: WHMIS, Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1 or 2.
