**Concrete Batcher Opera**

The Redimix Batcher-Operator at PLP Redimix Ltd. plays a critical role in the productivity and efficiency of operations at PLP Redimix Ltd. and its facilities. The Redimix Batcher Operator plays many critical roles including but not limited to; produce concrete products to required specifications Equipment Operator.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Valid ‘G’ Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract required; Class DZ or better considered an asset
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience
- Must display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times
- Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends when necessary
- Strict adherence to all industry related safety legislation as well as company specific safety policies/procedures
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers and supervisors with other duties as required

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Must be able to produce concrete products to required specifications
Verify each load for yardage, mix, added products and all other quality information
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Receive and inspect raw materials
- Keep required records and logs
- Oversee the cleaning of the central mix plant.
- Monitor inventories in the plant. (Cement, flash, admixtures)
- Ability to perform moderately complex mathematical equations as applicable
- Thorough working knowledge of computer/batching system
- Define problems and collect data
- Various tasks as required

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
