The Role

The Victoria Store Manager is responsible for all aspects of store operations, marketing, community and people development. Your main objective is to engage and develop your team, build the Victoria Store business, and make a lasting impact in your community. The Victoria Store Manager is a highly collaborative leader who drives the overall operations strategy and is 100% responsible for the highest level of customer engagement and experience. You will be directly collaborating with other departments including CX, Marketing, Product, and General Management to have your vision for the store come to life.

- Product Education: You are a natural storyteller. You are able to communicate the features and benefits of our product assortment through an authentic connection with our customers. You are also the stand for product education in your store and are constantly educating and elevating the level of knowledge and expertise amongst your team.

**Duties**:

- Hiring, onboarding, training, and developing your team including performance management and assigning tasks and duties to team members
- Maximize store sales through effective planning, execution and brand awareness
- Oversee all areas of store operations and delegate accordingly
- Responsible for understanding the people needs of the business in staffing requirements based on store performance and seasonal fluctuations and acting accordingly
- Deliver exceptional customer service and lead by example
- Technically and creatively manage all in store product and merchandise
- Train and develop team of retail sales staff, including ensuring staff are educated on all products
- Strategically generate traffic and build brand presence by developing innovative, community-driven initiatives—thinking beyond traditional retail methods to attract and retain customers
- Build and cultivate lasting customer relationships and enable all staff members to do the same
- Drive and maintain the operational excellence within the stores, troubleshooting to remedy issues in store as soon as possible
- Demonstrate strong time management and organization skills to keep priorities in focus
- Effectively communicate needs and ideas to upper management in order to elevate the business, while ensuring to come with potential solutions
- Enforce all company policies and programs, ensuring compliance and performance management
- Evaluate, optimize and maintain employee hours/scheduling for the Victoria Retail Store and hours allocated to the CX Specialist role
- Meet sales targets and achieve profitability by controlling costs (labour, supplies, inventory etc.)
- Create relationships with local businesses and participate in community events
- Stay up-to-date (and ensure staff are up to date as well) with product knowledge, company information, new launches, campaigns and promotions
- Partner with your Manager to ensure all people policies and programs are upheld
