Join our dynamic IT team as a Junior Application, Desktop and Infrastructure Support Analyst at Bunzl, where you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional end-user support across our expansive network. You'll engage with employees, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure seamless functionality of desktop systems.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- **End-User Assistance**: Respond promptly to inquiries and provide technical support to employees experiencing hardware, software, or network issues.
- **Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve desktop-related problems, both remotely and on-site, ensuring mínimal disruption to workflow.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions provided, and troubleshooting steps for future reference. Add content to the IT knowledge base.
- **Training and Guidance**: Offer guidance and basic training to end-users on software functionalities and best practices.
- **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate effectively with IT teams to escalate complex issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- **Hardware management**: be responsible for maintaining a pool of hardware devices, in order to respond to break/fix issues, growth and new employee onboarding.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- A college diploma in Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of desktop & mobile operating systems (Windows, iOS), hardware components, and basic networking concepts.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Adopts a guiding principle of customer empathy. Listens, understands a scenario from the customer’s point of view, puts a customer lens on all situations and adjusts communication style to match the customer.
- Believes in Continuous Improvement, always looks for ways to improve processes, technology and their own skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with end-users of varying technical expertise.
- Experience at any level in the Logistics, Warehousing & Distribution industry is preferred.

**_ Preferred Skills:_**
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) for issue tracking and resolution.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or similar are a plus.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset, but not a requirement.
