Hairstylist or Salon Assistant

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistants and Hairstylists to join our team. As an ellenoire team member you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in the beauty industry to gain hands-on experience and grow their skills.

**Duties**:

- various tasks including cutting shampooing, colouring & and styling hair
- Sanitize salon tools and equipment
- Greet clients and provide excellent customer service throughout their salon experience
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Assist with retail sales by recommending products and upselling services
- front desk duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
- Maintain salon appearance by keeping the reception area, styling stations, and product displays clean and organized

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a salon or customer service role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques and products is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior stylists
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Please note that all positions at our salon are paid hourly with option of added commission for licensed stylists.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
