**About the Position**

The Payroll Officer is accountable for delivering accurate and on-time payroll and for helping staff with payroll inquiries. Typical duties include:
- Preparing and processing support staff payroll for approx. 500 staff
- Verifying absence entries and updating absence balances
- Maintaining employee records
- Administering pay and leaves according to collective agreements, labour standards, and other payroll compliances
