**About the Role**:
We are searching for a dynamic and enthusiastic student to join our team this summer. As the **Waterfront Stewardship Specialist**, reporting to the Parks, Manager, you will provide education and awareness to promote the wise management and use of the beaches and waterfront of Saugeen Shores.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide environmental education to residents and visitors of Saugeen Shores.
- Provide and facilitate public presentations including site meetings with waterfront property owners.
- Conduct ecological inventories and active management (i.e. invasive Phragmites).
- Prepare educational materials to increase understanding and awareness of waterfront ecology and maintenance.
- Assist in waterfront and beach maintenance.

**Education/Specialized Training/Skills**:

- Valid G2 or G License.
- Must be enrolled and a minimum of two (2) years post-secondary education in natural sciences, environmental studies, or a related discipline.
- Experience with event planning and communications is considered an asset.
