The Little Masterminds Daycare believes in the learning through play approach while also incorporating elements of the Flight. Our mission is to provide quality care for children, to support and develop their full potential.

We are presently hiring at our Westpark location.

**Requirements**:

- Early Childhood Education Certificate - Level 1, 2, or 3
- Current Standard First Aid and infant/child CPR
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check

**Duties to include** (but are not limited to)**:

- Observing children in play, then using observations to plan activities
- Engaging with children in their play
- Encouraging children to learn and master age appropriate tasks
- Serving lunch and snacks
- Changing diapers, doing potty training
- Helping children with hand washing, tidying toys, dressing themselves
- Helping children to sleep at nap time
- Cleaning and disinfecting the play space, bathroom, toys and more
- Interacting with children during free play
- Communicating with parents about their children’s day
- Supervising children engaged in structured activities: arts and crafts, music, games, science and more
- Observing and maintaining proper ratios for your age group
- Mopping floors, cleaning tables and chairs, taking out the garbage
- Doing laundry
- Washing and sanitizing children’s water bottles
- Cooking lunch and doing dishes if needed

**Wages **(including the government top-up)**:
$18.64 - $26.62 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.14-$26.62 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Benefits**:

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
