**Who We Are**
**Duties and Responsibilities of the Framer**
- Ability to safely operate various hand and power tools
- Assemble and disassemble scaffolding
- Occasionally prepare material take-offs
- Complete mostly wood and sometimes steel stud framing projects ranging from additions/renovations to complete homes or structures
- Practice good housekeeping at all times to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite
- Demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices
- Clearly and proactively communicate job site conditions and any potential concerns that may affect completion of the job to the Site Supervisor
- Lift and carry heavy objects, such as framing lumber, sheets of plywood, and other building materials
- Ability to operate motorized equipment such as a boom lift or scissor lift an asset
- Ability to install roofing (shingles and/or steel panel) and siding (vinyl and/or steel panel) also an asset but not necessary
**Experience and Requirements of the Lead Framer**
- 2+ years experience as a Framer within the construction industry
- Broad knowledge and experience in framing structures
- A general understanding of building codes, safety guidelines and regulations
- The ability to read and comprehend blueprints and various construction documents including work orders, change orders, etc.
- General knowledge of building codes related to framing
- Operate and maintain various power and manual tools
- Ability to work at heights
- Must be reliable
- Follow established protection and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Must have excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work without supervision at times
- Be a great team member and team leader
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout our service area
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
