The Knowledge Translation Program is currently looking for **Research Coordinator I** to join the dynamic and growing team in a full-time position. This Research Coordinator will support both knowledge synthesis projects within the Knowledge Translation Program.

Applicants will need to have a high level of attention to detail, yet be adaptable in a fast-paced working environment. This position will offer the successful applicant a challenging and rewarding team environment.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Leading and supporting systematic reviews and meta-analyses
- Familiarity with quality appraisal tools, software and writing
- Assisting in setting and implementing project goals
- Ongoing coordination of activities pertaining to studies
- Collection and entry of study related data
- Present research related information, including written study reports when necessary
- Participate in team meetings and activities
- Design of all source documents, edit/format scientific papers for publication and presentations, etc.
- Preparation of derived datasets for statistical analysis
- Preparation of statistical plans and reports
- Contribution to statistical analysis
- Assist Investigators in the interpretation and implementation of study protocols
- Assist Investigators in the initiation of new research
- Screen data for study inclusion according to protocol (if applicable)
- General office duties e.g. filing, faxing, mailings, photocopying, etc.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Science in health sciences with a strong epidemiological training and an understanding or epidemiological concepts
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Experience with systematic reviews and meta-analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to learn new skills
- Superior organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a timely manner and flexibility to adapt to changing workload.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent computer skills and facility with a range of software products
- A Masters will be an asset
- Previous experience in knowledge translation is an asset
