- The marketing team is seeking a Website Manager - Marketing (webmaster - internal title). This talented, versatile, and passionate individual will be responsible for managing the company's websites and their evolution while ensuring their functionality, resilience, and performance. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Team Lead and collaborating with internal and external teams, the role will be a key contributor to the growth of a Montreal-based company with an expanding international footprint.
What you will do:
- Act as the main point of contact for the daily management of our websites.
- Manage and update website content using Craft CMS (WYSIWYG).
- Coordinate daily operations with our external development agency and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development cycle.
- Participate in the development and integration of new features and elements on the website.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather requirements and implement web solutions.
- Work closely with our SEO agency to improve our performance in search engine results pages (SERPs).
- Ensure our websites adhere to best practices in UX/UI design.
- Monitor website performance and perform QA on user experience for critical user journeys (e.g., parcel tracking, customer support, lead generation).
- Conduct quality assurance tests to identify and resolve issues or bugs.
- Track and improve website performance indicators (e.g., page load times, mobile experience, etc.).
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to web experience.
- Perform other related tasks.
What you bring:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a product owner, webmaster, or in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of standard CMS platforms.
- Experience working closely with or within a development team is a plus.
- Understanding of best practices in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) on mobile.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices.
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of HTML/CSS; knowledge of PHP and JavaScript is a plus.
- Proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
Other Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate technical and non-technical information.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Bilingual (French/English).
