Truro Landscaping is a rapidly growing and evolving business, and is looking for an administrative assistant to join our exceptional team. As we continue to expand our front-line operations, we require a motivated, creative, and talented individual to help us manage this growth in an organized and coherent manner. This person will be critical in helping to shape our administrative system and processes as we move forward. This person will require strong computer literacy, organizational skills, and some business acumen. Further, a high degree of confidentiality, sound judgement, and professionalism is required.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in an administrative role
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to:
- Combine speed and accuracy while working under pressure to meet deadlines;
- Work independently while prioritizing own workload;
- Handle multi-tasks simultaneously;
- Set up and maintain filing system;
- Compose memos and letters;
- Maintain record keeping books and files;
- Maintain various financial records;
- Some basic accounting knowledge is considered a strong asset. Training will be provided as required.

**Objective**:
- To provide exceptional service to our clients with reliability and exceptional results.
- Maintain excellent organisation of company records.
- Ensure reporting is completed in a timely manner.
- Provide accurate financial record-keeping.
**Responsibilities**:
- 22.5 + hours per week
- Book-keeping of daily transactions in Quickbooks.
- Maintain invoicing spreadsheets for property maintenance clients.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Prepare and submit payroll.
- Maintain a cash flow forecast.
- Run employee efficiency reports.
- Prepare weekly/monthly financial reporting as requested.
- Ensure tax filings are prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
- Maintain financial records for third party clients as required.
- Any other administrative tasks that are required.
**Compensation**:
- Hourly Rate of $20 per hour + Bonus as applicable
- Vacation paid out as applicable
- Group RRSP/TFSA with 3% employer matching.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 - 30 per week
