Under the leadership of the eCommerce Manager, the eCommerce Specialist will help execute our online growth plans and continue the strong momentum we have in our ecommerce channel. The eCommerce Specialist will be focused on growing online sales through product expansion, online program development, online customer acquisition & retention initiatives, and other growth tactics. It’s an exciting position, designed for someone who loves business, digital, transformation, and growth.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Executing initiatives in our annual ecommerce plan focused on growing online sales
- Implementing tactics to increase online conversion, and grow online AOV
- Acquiring new customers online through new program development and targeted segmentation
- Reviewing website and implement enhancements for U/X improvements to drive growth
- Working closely with purchasing and distribution teams on an extended aisle program
- Nurturing a growing autoship program, with new innovations and upgrades
- Focusing on driving online sales via our groomer and pet professional segment
- Analyzing competitor websites for opportunities and industry trends
- Monitoring sales, traffic, and other metrics using web analytics, Power BI, and Excel to quantify results
- Overseeing the day-to-day management and performance of the ecommerce website.
- Updating product listings, descriptions, pricing, and inventory.
- Collaborating with developers or IT teams to troubleshoot website issues and implement enhancements.
- Optimizing the website for SEO and ensuring a user-friendly experience across all devices.
- Monitoring and analyzing ecommerce performance metrics, such as traffic, conversion rates, sales, and customer behaviour.
- Generating reports to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Providing actionable recommendations based on data analysis to enhance revenue and profitability.
- Managing and improving onsite search, product recommendations, and checkout processes.
- Assuming all other related responsibilities as required by the business.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Ecommerce related fields
- Minimum 3 years of direct, hands-on eCommerce experience preferably in retail
- Strong systems knowledge with Salesforce, Power BI, Emarsys, and Bazaarvoice preferable
- Strong analytical skills with experience in tools like Google Analytics and Excel
- Thorough understanding of online business practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Superb collaboration, problem-solving, and influencing capabilities
- Robust project management skills
- Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends due to the nature of the role
- Team player who can collaborate effectively across departments
