**Position Summary**

Lead Estimator works in a showroom. It is a senior position within Inside Sales. In addition to regular Customer Service responsibilities, Lead Estimator provides expert estimations on complex jobs and ensures jobs are cost effective. A design background is recommended.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Interpret the architectural drawings for the office
- Assess the potential financial risks associated on jobs by reviewing material and labour requirements to ensure jobs are cost effective
- Consult with vendors and personnel in other departments to formulate estimates that benefit the company and resolve issues as job progresses
- Receive requests and respond to inquiries from customers
- Provide price and deliver quotations, technical assistance and source material to customers
- Assist customers with surface choices
- Maintain relationships with existing and new customers
- Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions, suggesting information about other products and services
- Take payments, process invoices and adjustments
- Enter orders and help set up install schedule
- Assist in day-to-day administration duties such as: stock entry, transfers, organizing literature and samples in the showroom
- Provide exceptional customer service in a professional manner
- Contribute to team effort and complete other duties as required or assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum grade 12 with preference given to a post secondary education.
- Inside Sales/Customer Service experience
- Ability to read architectural drawings
- Financial background an asset
- Kitchen and Bath Design knowledge an asset
- Professional communication skills both written and spoken
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced computer skills, ability to learn new programs
