**Job description**:
**Summary**:
Reporting to his supervisor, the Cloud & System Administrator assumes a role as an IT technology specialist and must have good general technical knowledge (IT infrastructure, scripting, databases, networks, cyber security, etc.) in order to have an overall vision. He/She participates in the full life cycle of the cloud and customer solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a member of the **Health IT Solutions Architects team**, membership in this group involves, among other things:

- Contribute to the creation and improvement of practices, processes, governance, and compliance of the technological architecture within the company and with clients.
- Conduct risk and cost analyses including strategies and recommendations.
- Assist the Tier 3 team with service escalations.
- Build training plans tailored to the target audience (business and customer).
- Maintain and optimize hardware inventories for upgrades, replacements, loans, demos and other equipment.
- Build system configurations for all new requests, write technical proposals for sales, participate in the bidding process as the main technical manager and ensure the ordering process with the right stakeholders.

**Cloud infrastructure (NeuronSphere East and West, OctopusCloud)**
- Contribute to continuous system improvement, operations, maintenance and monitoring (infrastructure).
- Maintain documentation on cloud system support and architecture.
- Suggest innovative approaches to customer needs.
- Contribute to the identification of technologies required for the implementation of selected solutions.
- Performance and capacity monitoring.
- Monitoring the life cycle of the operating system and the main software and packages used by the solutions.

**Desired profile**:
**Qualifications and **experience**:

- College degree in computer science.
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in information technology, including network administration.
- Experience in implementing IT solutions such as PACS/RIS or similar software is an asset.
- Experience in the installation of IT infrastructure.
- Fluency in French and English, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the following behavioural competencies:

**Other desired elements**:

- Knowledge of communication standards, such as DICOM, HL7, IHE, and others.
- Functional knowledge of WMWare, SQL, Windows Server 2012 and + environments.
- Knowledge of different types of security attacks (DDoS, MITM, Phishing, Malware, Hacking, etc.) and their solutions.
- Good knowledge of routing protocols, BGP, OSPF.
- Good knowledge of network equipment, Switches, and Routers.
- Excellent ability to synthesize and document clearly and concisely.
- Being organized, autonomous and having an analytical mind.
- Excellent judgment, flexibility, autonomy and open-mindedness.
- Having good knowledge of digital transformation-related architecture, particularly in the context of public, private and hybrid cloud computing in a multi-vendor environment.
- Maintaining privileged relationships with peers both internally and externally.
- Providing an overall view of the information technologies used in the company, in the clientele and influencing the evolution of the architecture.
- Professional certification associated with cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Private Cloud), an asset.
- Participating in product workshops offered by manufacturers.
- Demonstrating a high tolerance for stress and ambiguity.
- Recognized ease for planning, time management and priorities.
- Being available to travel (between 25% and 50% of the time, depending on operational needs);
- Having a valid driver’s license and passport.
- Being available outside regular hours for deployments and support escalations.”
