**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Teach English language arts, including reading comprehension, writing techniques, grammar, and vocabulary.
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, collaboration, and open communication.
- Encourage students to engage in discussions about literature and current events to enhance their critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and administrators to support student success and address any academic or behavioral challenges.
- Stay updated on educational best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques to maintain an effective learning environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$42.64 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
