We are a leading boutique swim school dedicated to providing high-quality swimming programs and promoting water safety. Back to Basics Swim Academy has been teaching swimmers of all ages for over 30 years. We are committed to providing high-quality instruction in a safe, fun, and professional environment. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Lifesaving Instructor & Examiner (Bronze) to join our team and help train the next generation of lifeguards.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Instruct and evaluate Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, and Bronze Cross courses in accordance with Lifesaving Society standards.
- Conduct written and practical evaluations for course participants.
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Communicate with students and parents about course expectations and outcomes.
- Stay up to date with Lifesaving Society guidelines and best practices.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Lifesaving Instructor (LSI) and Examiner certification (Bronze Level) - Required.
- National Lifeguard (NL) certification
- Standard First Aid and CPR-C
- Experience teaching Bronze-level courses and conducting evaluations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and instructional skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, as required by course schedules.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring future lifeguards.
