Lifesaving Examiner

We are a leading boutique swim school dedicated to providing high-quality swimming programs and promoting water safety. Our team of experienced instructors is committed to delivering exceptional instruction and ensuring a positive and enjoyable learning experience for all participants.

We are seeking an experienced Bronze Examiner to join our team in Burlington

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the instructor and examiner for lifesaving courses, including Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross
- Ensure paperwork is submitted in a timely manner, for issuing certificates.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the certification and recertification process as outlined by the Lifesaving Society.
- Ability to mentor and educate young students in the course, and offer feedback as appropriate.
- Ability to work flexibly, to teach and examine courses offered during the day, evenings and weekends
- Previous experience instructing and examining Bronze Medallion and Cross.
- Able to work in a team environment with other instructors

**Required Certifications**:

- LSS Lifesaving Instructor (required)
- LSS Bronze Examiner including completion of apprenticeship (required)
- NL Instructor/Examiner considered an asset
- First Aid Instructor/Examiner would be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
