J. G. Goetz Construction Limited is a medium Heavy Civil Contractor. We offer expertise in raw land servicing and municipal capital works projects which we actively work within a 40 mile radius of Guelph. In addition, we perform asphalt milling and concrete scarifying for the municipal and highway sector, province wide.

There is a full-time, seasonal opening for a DZ Tri-Axle Dump Truck driver to join our dynamic and hard-working team. Most work is in Guelph - Kitchener - Waterloo region, no GTA.

**Responsibilities of the job include**
- Driving dump truck to and from various job sites and locations
- Must be able to drive manual transmission
- Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical and safety issues to ensure safe operation and public safety
- Perform mandatory daily pre-trips and post-trips inspections in accordance with current laws and regulations
- Grease dump truck on a regular basis
- Fuel up at end of day at shop
- Hand in timesheets daily
- Operating company vehicles in accordance with laws & regulations at all times
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, equipment damage and property damage when applicable
- Maintain accurate log of hours worked in compliance with current laws and regulations

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of DZ driving experience
- Ability to provide a clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR Abstract
- Great attitude and work ethic
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
