**A.C. Americas (Canada) Inc.** is a world-class manufacturer/distributor of lighting and associated rigging and video technologies for the theatre, film, television, worship, exhibition and commercial markets in North America.

We’re looking for a highly skilled **Technical Resources Manager** to lead our product repairs and support function. This role is perfect for a technical expert who thrives on solving complex problems, optimizing repair processes, and delivering top-tier support to customers and internal teams. You will be responsible for overseeing product diagnostics, repair workflows, service quality, and technical support strategies.

**What You Will Do**

The Technical Resources Manager will report to the President of AC Americas and will have the primary responsibility of supporting the Sales and Sales Support teams in ensuring that the repairs, returns and replacement inventory is managed and coordinated to supply our clients with the best quality of customer service. The Technical Resources Manager will manage, mentor, and assign electronics repair technicians their day-to-day instructions, as well as manage the Tech support Team.
- Manage, mentor and assign electronics repair technicians their day-to-day instructions.
- Conduct and assist repair technicians in component level diagnostics.
- Review repairs.
- Repair of electronic lighting and AV equipment under the entities of the company.
- Set the standard on the replacement of components to test for equipment operation ability.
- Ensure repair technical information is recorded accurately in the ERP system.
- Conduct prototype testing for new products in conjunction with the R&D department.
- Manage the creation of Dialux drawings as approved/directed by the Sales Management Team.
- Key contact to coordinate with external technical repair contractors and manage the client’s expectations to resolve technical issues.
- Technical support and after-hours support for exclusive brands, including remote tech support staff.
- Third party repair center - including reconciling their billing actions and inventory goods.

**What Do You Need To Succeed?**
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in a related field from an accredited University/College in Electronics
- Working knowledge of A.C. Americas (Lighting, Audio & Video) product lines is an asset
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and related lighting software (Dialux an asset)
- Working knowledge of computer software and hardware repairs
- Basic knowledge of electrical theory and ability to calculate loading of 3-phase electrical systems
- Valid Passport

**Preferred Skills**
- Working knowledge of A.C. Lighting products is considered an asset
- Field experience with professional lighting and AV products
- Ability to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings
- DIALux, VectorWorks, or similar software an asset
