System Administrator

**System Administrator**

Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Understand and follow GlobeStar’s ISO-13485-2016 Quality Management System, and all relevant operating procedures and work instructions.
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of server, network, and virtualization in QA domain.
- Organize, install, maintain QA Windows servers, network software and hardware, including visualization, OS patching, performance monitoring, user management, etc.
- Install, configure, maintain, and administer the Solutions Development SQL Servers, including all associated software and hardware (Windows servers, virtual machines, SQL Server tools and components including SSIS, SSRS, SSMS, SSDT and Encryption)
- Able to work with and learn operation of third part systems such as Cisco Call manager, Vocerra, Voalte.
- Assist the Connexall Operations team and provide consultations for troubleshooting and deployment of database and analytics products at end-customer sites.
- Share technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
- Develop and maintain wikis, manuals, documents.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar discipline
- Minimum two years of experience as System administrator.
- Experience in Microsoft Windows Server & Microsoft SQL Server Environments is mandatory. Must be capable of designing and maintaining Server Architectures & related services including Installation, Upgrade, Patching.
- Experience in supporting and maintaining high-volume SQL Database Infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and TCP/IP Network Stack and related services such as DNS, HTTPS, LDAPS, SMTP, SNMP is required.
- Working knowledge of Web Server Setup & Support for both HTTPS/SFTP services preferably in Windows IIS Environment.
- Working knowledge of Network Security such as TLS.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server Administration.
- Working knowledge in SQL server performance tuning, optimization and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with SSRS, SSIS and SSAS installation and configuration and knowledge in T-SQL.
- Strong knowledge of IT and software troubleshooting is required.
- Experience with scripting (power shell, Basic, etc).
- Experience with automation tools is a plus.
- Experience with Jenkins software is a plus.
- Experience with Azure SQL Administration is a plus.
- Experience with telephony communication systems is a plus.
- MCSA and/or MCITP certifications a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
