**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software XERO
- Prepare and process journal entries for various financial transactions
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Support the overall accounting function by performing various clerical tasks

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Xero
- Familiarity with corporate and governmental accounting practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or errors in financial records
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
