**Part I - Position Purpose**

Muskoka Concrete Solutions creates unique residential spaces where beauty, functionality and environmental sustainability work in harmony. We specialize in energy efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for concrete new build projects, renovations and landscaping. Offering full concrete solutions such as concrete pumping, concrete footings, concrete Foundations, ICF foundations and walls, concrete slabs, concrete decks, and slab on grade.

Due to on-going demand, Muskoka Concrete Solutions is currently looking to add a responsible and experienced Skilled General laborer to their growing team.

**Part II - Position Functions**
- General work on a construction site such as demolition, clean up, material handling, material cutting, general installations and other duties as assigned
- Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints
- Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain
- Dig pits, trenches and foundations in preparation for job site construction
- Operate heavy machinery, including construction vehicles
- Operate power tools on site as needed
- Identify utility lines
- Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other forming materials
- Setting up ICF forms (NuDura), installing rebars for walls, lintels, bucks, accessories, window and door bucks, installing supports and scaffolding and getting ready for concrete pour.
- Back-fill trenches and pits when necessary
- Provide labour support as needed for specialty crew
- Perform general maintenance of equipment and vehicles.

**Part III - Position Specifications**
- Must be polite, courteous and punctual and a team player
- High school Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ year of experience
- Reliable means of transportation to various job sites
- Class G drivers license
- Be able to work as part of a team and with mínimal supervision
- Working from heights and WHIMS certification
- Must be able to lift heavy material up to 70 lbs such as concrete, rebar, etc.

**Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
